Apply to Madison

We consider academically motivated applicants. Admission is based on a combination of high school grades, rigor of courses taken, standardized test scores and a personal statement.

Completed applications are due January 15*, and families are notified of the admissions decision on March 10. Students whose applications are received after the deadline will be reviewed on a rolling basis as space allows.

To Madison, you are more than just a number. You’re more than an applicant reference number, more than a student number, and more than a high school average. You’re a scholar. You might be an athlete and you are definitely a leader in your school or community. You’re ready to change the world. At madison, we’re ready to help you do just that. If you’ve decided that madisonhigh school might just be for you, you’re definitely in the right place.

The facilities and teachers are just great. I’m so excited to use them all. It’s like the dream school I ever wanted.

your application starts here: steps to apply

1. Choose Your Round:

Which Round is Right for You?

  • The school’s master schedule takes into consideration the time constraints of Round One applicants. The time constraints of Round Two applicants may not be considered in the final schedule, so it may be difficult for those applicants to attend certain courses.
  • If you are seeking for financial aid, we strongly recommend applying in Round One. There will be limited financial aid available in Round Two
  • Space in the school may be limited for Round Two applicants.

2. Complete online application:

  • When using the online application, you will be required to submit a 500 – 750 word personal statement describing why you want to attend the High School Program.
  • Submit the application fee: A $50 non-refundable application fee, paid by credit card, is required at the time of submission of the online application form.

3. Recommendations:

  • Current English teacher.
  • Current mathematics teacher.
  • Special Interest or Personal Recommendation (optional).

4. Check your Application Status:

  • Keep an eye on your email. All communication from Madison will come through email.
  • Watch your email for your Application Confirmation. It has all the information you need about your application, including how to get a Madison NetID (that’s your key to signing on to your Student Center).
